Technician
Job Purpose
- To provide support to the Engineer in required maintenance work including electrical, A/C, plumbing, CCTV, BMS & telecommunication cabling and net working.
- To provide support to the Engineer in projects as a client’s technician.
Key result areas
- Provide daily maintenance services as instructed by the engineer or by his delegated staff for all types technical need in the DOZ building, bank, branches, HO or its subsidiaries, especially all electrical, A/C & plumbing works.
- Do all required cabling work for providing networks and telephone installations.
- Repair telephone lines as required.
- Replace lamps and lamp fixtures as required.
- Provide necessary support for projects as clients' technician.
- Suggest new ideas for improvement.
Operating Environment, Framework & Boundaries, Working Relationships
- The job requires interaction and relationship with staff internally and externally to maintain proper banks image.
- Should have working knowledge of English language.
- Knowledge of Arabic, Hindi, Urdu is added value.
Problem Solving
- Problems to be solved within given resources and time. Need well planning of time and response.
Decision Making Authority & Responsibility
- Emergency cases to be handled with appropriate decision. Should understand when superiors should be informed.
Knowledge skills & experience
- Technically qualified up to minimum 2 years diploma or ITI course or tradesman ship in electrical or DEWA or FEWA or SEWA certified to work independently as electrician.
- At least 3 years experience after the required min. qualification in the same field.
- Knowledge of data/telephone cabling is added advantage.
- Working knowledge of English Language.
